Inside downtown's Citadel Theatre building is the multi-level Lee Pavillion, which has a lush indoor tropical garden housed in the modernist glassed-in 1960s building. It's the relief every winter city (and plant-obsessed person) needs.
The garden is open to the public, so you can just wander in and check it out if you're downtown. What a treat.
